Teams set for spring season of Beach Rugby Series on Camps Bay!

The CIPLA Nutrition Beach Rugby Series is set to kick off it's Spring Season on Camps Bay in Cape Town this week with it's biggest and best season yet including teams from across the mother-city.

Pool Play runs for five weeks with Finals Day taking place on the iconic beach on October 2nd with the winner being crowned 'Beach Rugby Kings of Cape Town'.

UR7s SA MD, Tom Burwell spoke today at the press launch in Camps Bay "we are really excited for spring season to kick off. We highlighted Beach Rugby as a way to keep more and more young guns in the game in South Africa and around the world so alongside our 7s projects and tournaments we are looking at Beach and Touch Rugby and the Camps Bay series is very important"

"We have some awesome partners including official clubhouse, Cafe Caprice, official S&C partner Switch Fitness and title partner the world leading CIPLA Nutrition. They are joined by PUMA, Flying Fish, WheyO, Red Bull and a few more surprises along the way"

"Our aim is to put together a complete series of Beach Rugby leagues across Cape Town and South Africa and Camps Bay has become our spiritual home so this season is going to be really special"

Pool play takes place every Thursday Evening on Camps Bay Beach from 5.30 with finals day on October 2nd.
